TEACHING

Born into a family of teachers, education and working with children have always been not only a passion but a great strength for Paran. She began teaching seriously as she was finishing high school and by the time she received her Bachelor of Music from the New England Conservatory of Music was running a studio with more than thirty students.

Paran went on to pursue multiple graduate degrees while continuing to work as an orchestral sectional coach and coach chamber music. She has completed the Master of Music program at the University of Nevada, Reno and is currently writing a doctoral thesis at the University of Wisconsin, Madison that will serve as a manual for violin teachers in private lessons looking to strengthen aural skills and teach the fundamentals of harmony through the violin.

Paran has a studio on the East side of Madison, WI and is accepting students of all ages for private teaching, group lessons and chamber music coaching. She loves to teach young children and beginners drawing from a range of backgrounds including Suzuki, Rolland and Zweig.
